Hi.  I'm Jami

Couples therapy is what I do.

I am deeply committed to helping couples learn principles and practice skills that foster healing and a happier relationship.

WHY ME

Well, in large part because I have over 20 years of clinical experience and have dedicated most of my professional life to working exclusively with couples.

But beyond that, my understanding of relationships and respect for couples also come from the lessons I've learned through my own 35-year relationship. Navigating its ups and downs alongside my husband has been both humbling and rewarding, reminding me of the resilience and dedication required for a lasting partnership.  It has instilled a deep sense of purpose in my work and sharpened my ability to help others.

Facing the challenges of raising kids, managing finances, and dealing with family issues (just to name a few), my husband and I have also struggled with communication, unmet expectations, and the frustration of arguments that go nowhere.

Sound familiar?

That's because we all experience difficulties in our relationships at some point. Sometimes we work through them beautifully on our own, and sometimes we need help

It's important to know that support is available and you both deserve it if you're struggling.

It can make all the difference.

DON'T GIVE UP

As a therapist and partner, I know the pain and uncertainty couples can face. I understand the fear and doubt you might be feeling, and I know how much is at stake.

But with the right support, I also know it's possible to get through the most difficult times and emerge stronger together. One thing I'm sure of - couples are incredibly resilient.

So don’t be afraid to ask for help if you think you need it. Couples therapy can be a total game changer. It’s a safe space to work through complex feelings, understand each other better, and practice better ways of being.

Ultimately, it can help you become a stronger team and find your way back to the joy and connection you once shared.
